Where you know every part you want in detail or just want to be able to hand off the build to our knowledgeable staff so you don't have to worry about it we have you covered. Simply Tell us what you want and thats it. We will build out a custom parts list to your specs, review the items with you, order them, and assemble your firearm without you every having to go through the process of researching, sourcing, comparing, ordering, assemling, and specing your items.

THE PROCESS IS MUCH EASIER THAN YOU MAY THINK. IF YOU HAVE PURCHASED A FIREARM THEN YOU HAVE PRETTY MUCH GONE THROUGH THE PROCESS OF GETTING YOUR TAX STAMP. 

STEP 1: SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO SUBMIT YOUR FORM 4

STEP 2: CREATE AN EFORMS ACCOUNT AND MAKE SURE YOU REMEBER YOUR LOGIN INFO AND PIN NUMBER FOR THE APPOINTMENT

STEP 3: COME INTO THE SHOP AND WE WILL GO OVER THE FORM TOGETHER (IT IS VERY SIMILAR TO THE 4473 YOU NORMALLY DO WHEN PURCHASING A FIREARM)

STEP 4: IT USED TO BE YOU HAD TO GET YOUR PHOTOS DONE AT ONE STORE THEN HEAD TO THE SHERRIFFS OFFICE TO GET YOUR FINGER PRINTS DONE, THEN HEAD TO THE GUN SHOP TO FINALLY START THE PROCESS. NOT ANYMORE, WE OFFER IN HOUSE FINGERPRINT AND PASSPORT SERVICES TO MAKE SURE WE ARE YOUR ONE STOP SHOP!

If you are searching for a particular firearm and we do not have it at the shop please let us know what you are looking for and we will happily source it and get it in the shop for you. Whether it is a pistol, rifle, or shotgun we can get it for you.

BUY – SELL – TRADE

From one firearm to an entire collection, 43rd State Armory can facilitate your buy, sell or trade.

We can analyze your firearms to see what avenue is best suited on marketing your firearms. As well as help educate our customers on which channel will net you top dollar.

We provide a safe and professional retail location for you to bring your firearms in any time.

All the state and federal paperwork requirements are handled by us, making your transaction smooth and effortless.

You get paid instantly when we purchase your firearms. Store credit can be issued if you are interested in trading in your old firearm and help you fund the firearm you have had your eye on! We love older pistols, rifles and shotguns and welcome any firearms that might be considered rare or unusual. We live for our customers to bring us unique and rare firearms. This is the best method if you want your “old” firearm to be purchased and appreciated by a new firearm enthusiast or collector.

We require all firearms that are looking to be sold to us, to be brought into our retail store. We do not go to our customer’s houses to examine collections.

Please give us a call at 208.614.1910 to schedule a time to bring in your firearms. Please make sure your firearms are unloaded and cased. If you need assistance bringing you firearms into the store from your vehicle, please notify us once you arrive and we will be happy to assist you

 

FFL TRANSFERS

43rd State Armory welcomes your firearms transfer. We handle firearms transfers daily and can make what can be a difficult process, as simple as possible.  We always appreciate if you have a particular firearm that you are searching for, to give us a shot at tracking it down for you. We often have new and used inventory that is not on the website. We can also special order virtually any firearm and happy to assist locating any firearm for you.  If you purchased your firearms from an online retailer, it can be shipped to 43rd State Armory. Please read the following steps for a successful transfer:

Please confirm with 43rd State Armory that we can initiate your firearm transfer. Even if the dealer has our FFL on file, we require every customer to reach out to the store prior to their firearm arriving.
Once a copy of our FFL is sent to the seller, we have fulfilled our obligations as the dealer, until your firearm arrives. If you have any firearm related questions regarding your purchase, please contact the seller.
43rd State Armory does not receive firearms from individuals, all firearm(s) must be sent from an FFL.
If your package is delivered and signed for, please allow 24 hours for us to receive your firearm. Once we contact you, come into the shop to initiate your paperwork.
It is your responsibility as the buyer to ensure the firearm you are purchasing is legal in the state you reside. If you have a firearm shipped to 43rd State Armory that is not legal in the state you reside, the FFL fee you paid of $25.00 will be applied to receiving this firearm, whether it is delivered to you or not. If the firearm needs to be returned to the seller, a $50.00 fee will be incurred to ship your firearm back. That does NOT include the cost of shipping the actual firearm. If you choose to have another firearm sent to replace the initial firearm purchased, the fee is $50.00.

We provide drop-in replacements, basic cleanings, and minor repairs at the shop and work with several excellent Gunsmith shops in the Treasure Valley and beyond to provide you will the best possible solutions for whatever you need done with your firearms, from Machining, Repair, Replacements, Optic Cuts, Cerekoat, and more. All you need to do is reach out and let us know what you need and we will take care of the rest!
